University accreditation


University accreditation is an important step in a teacher-researcher's scientific career. It allows the holder to :

- Supervise doctoral theses and magester's dissertations;
- To acquire the rank of magistrate and to be appointed to the rank of Associate Professor level “A”;
- Lead research projects or a research team;
- Apply for promotion to Professor rank.

Application file for university accreditation (teacher-researcher):


  • A handwritten request;
  • A copy of the decision of tenure in rank;
  • A recent Certificate of Appointment;
  • A copy of the university degrees obtained;
  • A copy of the doctoral thesis;
  • A curriculum vitae outlining the various stages of the applicant's career;
  • Documents covering the applicant's entire university accreditation career;
  • A summary of five (5) to ten (10) pages highlighting all scientific and pedagogical work;
  • Copy of the course;

  • * The application file must be submitted by the research teacher, in 07 (seven) copies, to the department responsible for the IGEE PGRSREX.
